Refund policy

A 30 day no questions refund on the Host Pass, how to cancel automatic renewal, and what happens to a pass you have already paid for.

The Host Pass costs $49 a year and comes with a 30 day refund, no questions asked. Cancel automatic renewal any time from Manage billing on your account page. Cancelling stops future charges and your pass keeps working until the end of the term you already paid for.

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It covers the only thing you can buy here, the Host Pass.

What costs money

Almost nothing. Playing euchre is free, permanently, with no account and no ads in the game. The single paid feature is the Host Pass at $49.00 per year, which turns on live audio and video for everyone seated at a table you host.

Every account also gets two full games with video before anything is asked of you, so you can hear the table before you decide.

30 day refund, no questions asked

If the Host Pass is not what you expected, email hello@playeuchre.games within 30 days of the charge and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason and we will not ask for one.

This applies to your first purchase and to every renewal. If a renewal charge catches you by surprise, that is exactly what the 30 days are for.

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. We process them within 5 business days, and your bank usually posts them within 5 to 10 business days after that.

After 30 days

Email us anyway. We handle later requests case by case and we are not difficult about it, particularly if the Service was not working properly for you or a renewal genuinely slipped past you. What we cannot do is refund a full year several months in.

Cancelling automatic renewal

The Host Pass renews automatically each year until you cancel. To cancel:

1. Sign in and open your account page
2. Click Manage billing, which opens the Stripe customer portal
3. Cancel the subscription there

That is the whole process. No phone call, no chat, no retention offer, no explanation required. If the link ever fails, email hello@playeuchre.games and we will cancel it for you and confirm in writing.

Cancelling is not the same as a refund. When you cancel, future charges stop and your pass keeps working through to the end of the term you already paid for. If you also want the current term refunded and you are inside the 30 days, say so and we will refund it.

We send a reminder to your account email before each renewal, and we tell you in advance of any price change before it takes effect.

If we end your account

If we close your account for a reason other than your breach of the Terms, we refund the unused portion of your pass. If we close it because of a breach of the Terms, we do not.

Complimentary passes

Complimentary passes are never billed and carry no cash value, so there is nothing to refund.

Before you file a chargeback

Please email us first. A refund from us is faster than a chargeback, usually by weeks, and it does not put your account at risk. We answer refund emails quickly and we have never refused one inside the 30 day window.

Your rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under consumer protection or automatic renewal law in your state or province, including any right to cancel or to a refund that the law gives you. Where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law wins.
